Data upload

GrowInsight works with data from your Zanda (formerly Power Diary) Practice Management System.

To stay up-to-date with the latest insights into your practice performance, it is recommended that you upload your data at least once a week.

In order to upload your data, follow these easy steps:

1. In Zanda, navigate to Tools -> Data Export

2. Click 'Select None' to unselect everything, then select the following 4 data types:

   1. Client Profiles

   2. Invoices

   3. Payments

   4. Appointments

3. Click 'Export'. Zanda will start working on generating your data export. This process can take anywhere from 5 minutes to a few hours.

4. Once your data export file is ready, click on its name to download it.

5. In GrowInsight, navigate to Manage Your Data, click 'Upload your data file', select the data export zip file downloaded from Zanda in step 4 and click Upload. 

Once your file is uploaded, data processing within GrowInsight takes 5 to 10 minutes and will replace all your existing data with data available in the newly uploaded file. You can see the progress of your data in the 'Upload file history' table on the page. Refresh the page to see the latest status of file processing.
